Looking to sell my '92 VR6 Corrado, I've had it for nearly 5 years and its treated me well (especially for a Corrado) and is a lot of fun, but I've purchased another car and only have room for two. I am supposed to receive my new car this Thursday so I am very open to negotiation.
Here are the specs:
- 1992 Corrado VR6 Left-hand drive Japanese import
- Non-sunroof car
- Has all the euro bits including euro front bumper, rear license plate tub, front and rear fog lights, e-codes, steering wheel and dash trays
- 2.9L ABV-code VR6 engine complete with original intake manifold, throttle body and larger catalytic converter
- Was originally automatic, I converted it to a 5spd with Corrado parts and a Passat transmission. The transmission has the same gear ratios as the CDM tranny, but with a taller final drive
- The interior is cloth with a pattern I do not think was offered in NA
- All MFA functions work properly
I have added the following parts:
- Mk4 metal headgasket
- refreshed coolant system with low temp stat and Samco silicone hoses
- KW V1 Coils
- All new front and rear brakes, including SS hoses and mk4 aluminum rear calipers
- Removed the stock Activ stereo and installed a basic 4 speaker setup w/ ipod support
- New door handles with metal striker upgrade
- Keyless entry with switchblade FOB
- VW Lupo aero wiper upgrade from EPP (still enroute, will either install or give to the new owner)
The car has faded paint on the hood and spoiler, a rust spot on the hatch and peeling clear coat on the front bumper and rear quarters (I will provide detailed pictures).
Overall the interior is in very good shape, there is a little wear evident on the drives seat (base not the bolster) and the vinyl on the passenger door card is peeling a bit.
This car runs great and is a joy to drive with the new suspension and brakes, if someone was willing to put the time into cleaning up the body they would have an impressive example, or if you're like me, just enjoy the car as is.
The car currently has Michelin X-Ice winters and steelies mounted on it, I will also include the stock mesh BBS wheels with essentially new Yokohama S-drives. Also the exact mileage is 774xxkm.
Here are some older pictures I have of the car, I will give it a wash and add new ones shortly.
I am looking for $3500 OBO, and like I said am open to offers as I'd love to have it sold before my new car is ready.
If you have any questions, PM me or reply here.
Thanks,
Jonathan
