  • FS: Rays Engineering 17x8/9 wheel and tire setup.

    Specs are as follows:
    5x114.3
    17x8 et 37 205/45/17 et19 after adapters
    17x9 et 45 215/45/17 et24 after adapters

Currently mounted to mk4 GTI with 18mm adapters in front and 23mm adapters in rear, this is a bolt on flush/poke stance setup for a mk4, only front fender rolling needed for going as low as we do. Wheels were split last winter, barrels blasted, lips stripped and polished to mirror finish, centers blasted and powdercoated metallic candy green, bolts polished and nuts zinc plated gold. Wheels came from Japan, forged, have never seen a bend or repair job and balanced with 2 ounces on each wheel. Tires are Achilles ATR sport, only used this summer including one trip to GCVW in Vancouver, car is properly aligned and zero irregular tire wear. 2 inch lips all around, cone seat lug holes.
Price is $2400 with adapters, $2200 without, add an extra $100 for a completely shaved and color matched powdercoated 20v valve cover. (pic)
I'm in no rush to get rid of these, they are super rare Rays Engineering/Bridgestone Japanese market only wheels, and I'll probably cry if I sell them but I am just testing the waters as I already have a potential new setup for next year. Sorry if the green looks dark in some of the photos, just poor lighting in the basement. Any more pics needed just ask as I know these ones aren't great. The last pic is before refinishing and the rear wheel is not bent, thats just the rain messing with the photo.

Haha thanks. I work on 97 and 58th ave so I've pretty much mastered those horrible tracks. Thanks for the comment.

              BUMP.
Entertaining trades for cash plus Recaro or black leather interior. Maybe wheels if something strikes my interest.
