I'm selling my LED Tails, They are in perfect working order.

They have the wiring harness already.

Here is the link of what they are exactly and how much they basically cost me.

I still have them on the car, I'm about to take them off any time.

I'm asking $550 obo

On a side note, If I pop in the factory Tails, would I have to change the code back to
what it was in the lighting section.
I don't have a VAG, if I have to ? ? I was just going to try replacing them and see
if any fault codes show up. lol

Great price! I wish I could've got mine for that much haha. I know there are a few other MK6 owners on here, so someone should pick these up!

As for your question, I don't think you need to do any VCDS coding to return to the stock tails, but I'm not 100% sure. There are so may variations on the coding for the LED tails that it's tough to say for sure.

Ok I just removed the LED tails tonight, and with the factories, the inside Tails don't turn on, and it says there's an error in the MFD,
The outside seem to work.
So I need to replace the code in the lighting, from the 1F that I changed from 00,
If there is anyone that could help me out for like 15mins, to change it. I would like buy them a case of beer if that's adequate?

I think there is a specific way to reset the code as 00 is not a number but blank I believe, I will try to dig it out on the Vortex. Sorry I am not in town to help out this time around, what kind of car are you getting as it seems you are selling the GTI?

You coded my LED's at starbucks on Center St. remember.
ya as I'm selling my items off the car, I'm getting ready to sell the GTI.
After owning 4 VW's and 10+ years
I'm jumping into 2013 Mercedes GLK350.

I appreciate any help on this.

you can borrow my VCDS cable. You will have to use your lap-top as my windows unit crapped out.

This is what I found on the Vortex for correct resetting of the coding.

Changing the coding directly to 00 will not result in setting back to factory default. In order to set the module back to factory default for North America, first code to 03, then back to 00.

I don't mind borrowing the cables, but I have never done this before, I don't have the software (what type of connection is it to the laptop?)
I'm not exactly sure were to look to change the codes.
