Hmm interesting, then I would just need to get it cut at a dealer?

If you have a blade cut you can replace yours by removing the pin, and you don't have to get anything cut.

OH! then I cannot help you, my key shell is only good if you have your own key like that where you can remove the electronics and put it in the new shell.

I will probably eventually purchase the casing to put my old key in...
The only issue is I have one single key. Does anywhere know where I can get another key with the electronics besides the dealer?

I would suggest a locksmith, it is cheaper.

But yes, all you would need is to get it cut, the blade that is, you have a key FOB with a transponder chip and electronics to lock/unlock/trunk/panic?
