  • Moroso Catch can set up!

Ran on a 1.8t, with a T fitting from the valve cover, from the oil cooler and routed to the catch can. The can is vent to atmosphere, so you're relieving pcv properly, as well as preventing that gunk from getting into the turbo!
    paid 300 for it new,
    will include:
    catch can
    mounting bracket
more than enough 200psi braided nylon 8an hose
    all fittings needed (6)
1/2NPT tap for the valve cover
about 3 extra feet of 8an hose

    $250 OBO

If you're venting to atmosphere why even bother with a catch can?

Looks like a nice setup otherwise, glws

Without a catch can, all you are doing is dumping sludge and crap out into your engine bay or onto the ground. So even though it is VTA there is an advantage to running a catch can.

Not sarcasm. I vent my PCV to atmosphere without a catch can...

So do you have an open hose just laying there? Dumping oil onto the ground?
            And you think thats ok?

Yes, I do, and I have yet to see it "dump" oil...

Hell, my oil return on my turbo leaks more than my PCV

so do I. It's not like oil is pouring out of the PCV piping

I didn't have a catch can on my Tial 770 build either. Didn't "dump" oil.

Sorry, don't mean to troll or anything but you asked for pictures and an explanation and people were giving you their opinions and experiences.
