  • FS: 12V VR6 swap

Like the title says, I was going to put this into my MK2 but have decided to put my 16v in instead. So with that being said I have a mostly there swap, mostly there meaning I don't have a solution for the clutch to go with it. Either find a proper pedal cluster, as I'm going to do, or get a cable setup. A Passat VR6 lower front subframe and rad support are included, I got the rad support so the also included radiator from the mk3 should bolt up. No need for a Corrado radiator. What is NOT included with this is the ACT clutch and any 02J stuff, the transmission will come with original 02A shifter mechanicals. Otherwise the wiring harness (uncut), cluster, and ecu are all there.

That will take you to my original sale thread for the car the motor was removed from. The car was parked after those photos and eventually parted obviously.

    A fair price of $1500.

Boom! Solution for the Mk1 guys, their cable clutch conversion has me tempted. I need luck and motivation on my side to find a hydraulic pedal cluster.

It is easy enough to modify your pedal and fad the required pieces to put a hydraulic clutch in. There was a nice kit out there at one time but I don't think the guy sells it anymore.
