is my first post here. I will work up an ad properly a little later .
I purchased this car against the advise of Chris at Das auto haus
After putting uncountable hours installing the parts ( 10000$ worth) I have been totally unable to do any data logging and tuning .
I am at my wits end , I can not justify keeping the car. My loss is your gain .
. There are some details missing in the linked advertisement. There are a total of 4 sets.of tires and two sets of rims . Pictures can be made available if requested .
The car starts and runs strong . But it is not perfect . Proper data logging and tuning are required .
Pm here or contact through the as with a reasonable offer .
I can email the recipts for all the parts used in the build .

No. It was an option. 337's and 20AE's came factory with a hatch spoiler. But you are both very right, does not look like a GTI. The seats look weird, however mine has the Big-Bolster leather, so maybe those were pre 2003? No idea...

Its very hard to tell GTI's apart from regular golfs, but this car looks like a GTI to me. Has a 1.8T engine, only came in GTI's (came in 4 door golfs but not 2 door golfs), has the GTI 3 spoke steering wheel, has GTI Tail lights. Only thing that looks out of place is that the wheels/tires look smaller than stock making it superdonk status.

Definitely looks like a GTI. Golfs never came with leather seats, 2 doors AND a 1.8t engine.

Just talked to the guy apparently only 1 guy has seen it. Someone buy this if its legit. I can't stand TR personally so I'm out...

PS this has been on for a couple of weeks so I still think something is not right w it... Started out at $5000 iirc.
