I told a few people I'd share the story cause I found it kind of funny.
Anyways, I saw the post/ad this afternoon and he already had 140 hits on the page and I totally thought I missed out. I decided to try anyways and sent him an email that I'd pick them up today along with a 6-pack of his favorite beer. Surprisingly he responds a couple hours later and after a couple emails he said he'll sell it to me.
So I get to his place and notice a FS sign out front, I figured from our emails that he was moving out, so when I meet him I ask him if he was moving and that's why he is selling the tires and wheels for so cheap. He said he was renting the place out and the previous renters weren't able to take everything and left behind stuff they didn't want. And in the garage the only stuff he personally couldn't use or want was the wheels and tires. He then asks me to be honest and tell him what they are worth because he got about 200 emails and he contemplated pulling them and putting them up for more until he saw my email about adding the beers on top. I told them they could be fake since the renters left them, but if they are real they'd be worth quite a bit more. I quickly check for the part numbers and they are authentic as far as I can tell.
When I said we have a deal he looks at me and then my car and said he won't sell it to me if I can't fit everything and he was totally convinced I wouldn't be able to fit everything. His face was priceless as he watched me load everything. I think he was hoping that I wouldn't be able to fit, so he didn't have to sell it to me and could re-list it for more lol.
THE ONE TIME I DON'T GET SOMETHING CAUSE ITS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. Those are gonna look awesome btw
