It would be around $350-$400, I didn't even make minimum wage building the last batch of 5 for $300.

I have a few trailer receivers if anyone wants that option. It's a whisper overkill being 2" CNC cut plate, but it was the cleanest and strongest design I came up with.

I have yet to get a bike rack for mine (my wife can't decide after I bought 4 different ones and returned them) but I can say that so far I'm happy with mine. It went in fairly easily once I had the bumper off and seats out. The hardest part of the install was pulling the rear interior panels in the Avant. No rust what so ever on the hitch or receiver and this thing is in the dirtiest saltiest part of the car. Thumbs up to your buddy at the paint shop, he obviously does good work. I'll be in touch in the spring to get one of those riser receiver type mounts made (similar to what you just posted only receiver instead of ball mount).

Did you colour match the ball hitch mount? It looks really close in the pic!

Yea, I was getting new door blades painted and thought I would do this at the same time.

So since you have a mk4 now are we gonna see a hitch for mk4's? Haha. Assuming r32's would be the same

Funny you mention, yea, I'll be making some Golf/Jetta hitches in the next couple months. The Golf is a bit different than a Jetta, but overall similar.

I will definitely buy one. I Would probably buy a trailer receiver too.

Month or two? Hoping to be able to haul bikes to Invermere once things dry out and warm up enough for my girls to ride.
