Well, I managed to get ahold of an Immob. 2 cluster with full screen MFA, so this one I have here has to go.

you said the dealers vag couldnt pick yours up, maybe its broken. their vag is much more superior to vag-com...

The issue that the dealer was having was compatibility b/w an Immo 3 cluster and an Immo 2 car. Techs said straight off that it could not be done, whereas VWVortex said it could, and has been done (so did you). Well, $100 later, the dealer proved that it could not be done, and straight out of the tech's mouth "I could probably do it with a vag com, but our tool just cant reprogram the cluster". The tool could see the cluster, but just could not rewrite / reset anything.

Vag Com's are more capable than dealer tools... check their website for proof.

And in the unlikely event that the cluster does NOT work, I'm not about to screw anyone on it. I'll take it back. Thats a promise. But you dont have to worry about that b/c the cluster is fine.
