  • FS: MK4 Steering Knuckles/Spindles Complete.

I have no use for these anymore - just removed them from my car as they were replaced with MK1 TT parts.

Wheel bearings are still good (pass side was done last year drivers side unkown)
Wheel speed sensors are still good (pass side was replaced last year)
There is no holes or damage on the ring/gear that wheel speed sensors use.
Wheel bolt holes are good, bolts thread in and out - never had a problem.

Price I will say $200 OBO??
wheel bearings alone are $90 per side so $100 per side for these is a good deal I think.
Call or text me at (403)472-2052 if interested!

Sorry $250 for spindles with hubs?! You might be quite far out to lunch on this one, i sold a set for $80 last summer.....and even that was a tough sell right Brent? :P

That's why I put the question marks and the OBO after the price.... I dont quite know what each used part of my car is worth, sorry? If the Hubs BaggedGLI is referring to with no extras are going for roughly the same price as my hubs, bearings, speed sensors and spindles together I have listed I dont think that is "quite far out to lunch" still over priced some, yea sure but that's how everybody prices things because you always get less than the asking price.

If somebody is actually interested in buying stuff without filling up space on every for sale thread I make by telling me my prices are "quite far out to lunch" shoot me an offer and see what I say, chances are if you want them they will be yours!!

If you need to do your wheel bearings and do not have a press these would be a cheaper and potentially easier to swap to do at home.

Like all our used parts, they aren't worth anything until someone needs them for a replacement. I wouldn't worry too much though, because someones bound to need one sooner or later.

These are an upgrade in the TDI world as well. More so if they had calipers attached.

                  i would leave the price...
mechengg had a hissy fit about my "overpriced" cloth mk4 seats too... apparently he sold a set for way cheaper than i was asking...
its not our fault he sells his stuff for below fair market value...
im sitting on the same spindles now... someone will need them eventually...
the housings alone sell for $300 a side new, i was told...

The front brakes on the 1.8t are bigger. But you need the matching spindles to make them fit the TDI.

I looked at ECS and for the wheel speed sensor ring $30/ea, hubs alone are all around $100/ea, Then not on ECS: bearings I know here are around $90/ea and the wheel speed sensors are around $70/ea (If I remember right) then for the housing themselves I have no found a price. So now we have 1 set for Edmonton guys and 1 set for Calgary guys here, looks like no matter where you are if you are in need of a set there is something available!

As for them being an upgrade I have done ZERO research into this so dont quote me here but I would say there is bigger brake capabilities? Just judging by his statement about the calipers. Caliper mounting points are for bigger calipers and/or hub made for bigger rotors? My GTI having bigger brakes than a standard 2.0L makes a ton of sense to me but I personally did not think there was a difference in the spindles. Just tossing this out there to try and help, maybe give some ideas if you want to research it in case CGDoig does not chime in with his good knowledge.

Edit: hooo CGDoig, you beat me!! Also, Thanks for the information!!
