Also true. 96RON is more or less 92AKI actually, but I'm sure 91 would be just fine

BTW, Rod, I saw you at the lights on Memorial and 28th st today as I was heading to work

I know, the only reason I would even mention an r32 as a DD is because there's a chick couple blocks down from me who daily drives one, and she doesnt even know how to change her own oil. Yes I am serious. Also I have a couple thousand to fall back on "in case". But anyway I know the typical r32 is unrealistic for a daily :(

And rodman, the 96 I mentioned is already in terms of our rating, good 94 could work but everyone has complaints about husky/mohawk but that's all we have. The RON is supposed to be about 100

I love .:R32 GTR's, but I would never want one as a DD. It's just not a practical idea.
I only caught a small part of what you said there, but I knew you'd come around sooner or later Pat, haha.

OP, i'd say test drive a few RHD cars before taking the leap. From seeing how bad some of the drivers are around here, the last thing I would want is to have something even less convenient for driving.

I've driven RHD in the Cook Islands, Ireland, and Australia. Its like anything, just takes practice in getting used to it.

Part sourcing, and that the driver is seated blind to MOST situations, makes it an ill-informed decision. It's a cheap entrance into big HP.

I think it's adorable when attempts are made to DD a rare RHD.

Well, sold my Jetta last week and I already miss it. Especially since im driving a 1990 dodge spirit until my V3 STi is landed in Calgary (about a month). This forums been a great help, maybe I'll have another euro one day!
