18x8 et35 and 18x8.5 et35 setup for 5x112, there is some rash on lips wheel from previous owners as I never did get around to refinishing... Wheels are straight and do balance out and don't leak... Tires are Kuhmo SPT in 225/40/18 all around, two are essentially new and the others are 90% tread.... Asking 800obo

A friend of mine has a 2008 Rabbit and is looking for some wheels… not sure if this offset/width will work or not?

Width should be fine but not sure on offset

IIRC, mk5's need lower offsets, eg 40-45. These should fit but will be flush and may require fender rolling/other mods.

Ya, the stock wheels in this case are 16x6 w/50 offset... there is a fair amount of wheel to fender clearance and her car will likely stay stock height. I think the narrower wheels will fit... maybe sit flush.

Anyone know of a machine shop that could take a few mills of the center of the wheels if need be? If the cost is low enough I think it would be worth it.
