I was just hassling you because you didn't state a price and it is your first post on here. Nobody knows you, you didn't introduce yourself and made zero effort to want to be part of the community. Perhaps start off with a Hi and an introduction before trying to sell anything for a very high asking price
Same here, welcome to the forum!
Eric 2000 Volkswagen Jetta VR6 - Bagged 1990 BMW 325IX- Daily
Yeah sorry, that was not a great way to start off. But I'm Dylan, 17, highschool student. I bought my 2003 GTI VR6 this summer, don't flame me I actually worked and saved my money to buy my car, not to say I didn't get some help. Anyways maintenance I paramount for me, although I plan on keeping it mostly stock, I plan on buying some coilovers, some miro 279's, and possibly a magnalfow cat-back in the future. But seeing that I only make 150-190$ a week and have to pay for everything, and owe my grandma money, the car will be staying stock for quite some time unfortunately. I was trying to sell the longbeaches to afford coils, and will post pics as soon as I can.
Welcome Dylan
Great car to buy, and doing maintenance is always a top priority. Upgrades can always wait until after you are out of high school or done college/university. I always did small stuff until i finally graduated university then went onto bigger things. If you need any parts for replacements if anything breaks or wears out PM Natty54 and he can get you the products you need for an excellent price and give you any advice on installation/diagnosis also.
Good luck with trying to sell the longbeaches, i know lots of people were looking for them at the start of the summer and they were actually pulling in some high prices. Just need to be patient until the demand comes back up
There are some used coilovers on here sometimes that you can pick up for a few hundred bucks, just take a good look at them to see if their collars are seized or dampers are leaking.
Thanks for the welcome!
Thanks MechEngg, I will be sure to consider. I saw some coilovers for sale for 250 that i might pick up, they are k-sports.
And my car is reflex silver.
Sorry Dylan, I didn't expect this from the community, but a new member is always welcome! There is always banter on here, but if you come out to a meet you will see it's just the humour of the group.
If you need a hand or anything down the road installing the coilovers either post up or send me a text and I'd be happy to help.
Enough of the banter, the price should be indicated by the OP to avoid issues and of course this is up to them and can be obo.
Welcome to the forums and enjoy your car, I bought a set of Long beaches once upon a time from the states for a good penny but you were probably around 7 at that point in time
