Vehicle add has kicked in for hopefully the last time. Selling the gti. This is a fun car with a couple issues that are easily fixable. I'm listing it as is for now to see if anyone wants to get it and fix it, if not I will either swap in a 8v and relist it, or fix the things and sell it for more.
1987 gti, i'm unsure of the kilometers on the body. The body is in pretty good shape, with most of the rust being contained to the doors. One spot on the rocker, but it hasn't gone through. Overall the body is pretty clean and has euro small bumpers and a 16v lip.
It was g60 swapped by one of the previous owners, he did a good job of the swap. It has a couple problems, but none of them are very serious. I believe the oil pump needs to be changed, as well as the fuel pump. It is running a little rich for some reason, i'm not certain why. The interior is stripped other than door cards, dash, carpet and front seats. It also needs an axle, but I have two axles in good shape to go with the car.
It has upgraded mk3 brakes, so it has 4 wheels disks as well as stainless braided lines. The master cylinder has also been changed for a bigger one. It has koni reds up front and bilsteins in the back with eibach sportline springs and a neuspeed strut bar. It handles fantastic.
It has the boost return deleted, an RSR outlet, bosal 4-2-1 header with super sprint exhaust, a/c and p/s deleted, adjustable cam gear, catch-can, digi-1 management, mostly tucked wires, 02A cable shift trans swap with eurovan cable clutch set up and short shifter.
It has black leather yonaka (c1 seats/recaro rip offs) seats that are in decent shape, but the rest of the interior is pretty much stripped and whats left isn't in the best shape. You're best bet would be to just grab a whole interior and put it back in, or if you want to autocross or something leave it out.
It will come with winter tires on snowflakes and summers on pslots.
I'd like to get 2100 for it as is. The price will change if I fix the issues.
