I am selling a 1993 VW Jetta GL in OK condition. The car does start and run. It is perfect for a parts car or for a project. I have owned it for close to 3 years and have not been driving it for the past year while I was at school outside of Calgary.
The car is sitting on some aftermarket 18" wheels. It also comes with a set of brand new winter tires on steel wheels. The car has a decent stereo (Alpine type s). The interior and exterior are in pretty good condition. Some rust spots outside and underneath. The battery, water pump, alternator, rad & rad fan, and valve cover were all replaced in the past 3 years.
As for the bad,
It has had some electrical issues and another wiring harness from the same engine was used to fix the problems. As a result, sometimes the idle will bounce a bit until it warms up.
- The brakes lights are not working.
- The rear brakes need to be replaced.
- Cracked windshield
- Needs clutch.
