How is it in the winter with FWD? Has anyone looked into how hard it would be to convert to 4-motion like the v6 version had as an option? Ever since we got the A4 I've been thinking a diesel AWD wagon would be my perfect vehicle.

converting it to 4 motion is a waste of money. my passat was awesome this winter

It drives awesome in the winter but I have nokian hak rsi's (that will be thrown in If the price is right).
The diesel 4motion was avail in Europe which would be awesome here....... BUT I would choose diesel over 4motion hands down all day long in that wagon!
