No, with the baby here now he already cries crammed in his seat when the cars not moving. That little extra vibration may not help. I don't get much wheel hop anyways, nor do I drive like that enough to warrant using it.

I have 3 kids. Sometimes the vibration helps. I wouldn't use that as a reason to get rid of it

Good question asked, it is 50 durometer solid rubber, not polyurethane.
