  • FS: 2002 OEM Jetta headlights w/eyelids

Selling a pair of 2002 OEM headlights $175 OBO

-Only used for about 10 months before I replaced them with ecodes
-Like new condition with no cracks or damage
-Complete with turn signal bulbs and aftermarket Hella Optilux bulbs (the Hella bulbs are brighter than stock and have a lifetime replacement warranty, regular retail $75)
-Includes eyelids painted black (these can be repainted another color or removed all-together)

These OEM headlights retail for about $115 USD EACH. That's about $306 CDN, plus the Hella and turn signal bulbs and eyelids, the total value of these is about $440. Nice replacement of regular OEM headlights, great for those looking to Joey mod their lights, or perfect as replcement lights for those that have broken lenses.

hey derek just wondering what e-codes did you buy? I still think i want HIDs but they are quite pricey and E-codes give better output than stock.. but i'm not buying crappy FK aka DEPO smoked ones and I like the hellas but they are like 500cdn for regulars and same with the Momentum smoked ecodes they are hellas but smoked and are like 300US w/harness no euro switch.. hrmm

Screw the ecodes Ryan, What you need is a nice set of OEM headlights with eyelids

Seriously though, I know what you mean about the HID and Hella ecode prices...ridiculously expensive.
I have the smoked MMP ones. They are manufactured by the same factory that makes Hella ecodes. To prevent a lawsuit, MMP slightly changed the shape of the inside lense so that they weren't exactly like the Hellas. As a brand manager myself who deals with manufacturing companies overseas, this is legit. Most people don't have any idea how many manufacturers acutally produce goods for different brands/retailers (for example a ketchup factory can make ketchup for Heinz, no name, and presidents choice) this is the same case with the MMP ecodes. Everything about the MMP ecodes is identical to the Hellas....housings, conections, adjustment mechanisms, materials, etc. Break apart the FK (AKA depot) ones, and you'll see the difference. I don't know how much the MMP ones are now, but I bought them last year when MMP was having an Internet sale off VW Vortex. I picked them up for $365 CDN including the wiring harness and shipped to my door. It was a smoking deal and it got here in 2 days!
