I will personally slap anyone who buys an HID "kit" and puts them in either a reflector housing or a halogen projector housing. Enough said.

If you check your projector cutoffs, and aim your lights right (full tank of fuel plus average cargo weight in car), you should be good. They may end up a little low at times, but it should make up for not having leveling motors and to an approaching car, not appear any different than a normal HID.

... No way to compensate with reflector housing. It will be full time highbeams regardless of what you do.

I have the lights above - is that balast holder a normal size or is that the slimmer size?

I'd be interested in 4300 H1 with the relay kit (mk4) assuming above works.

looks normal size, slim is about 1cm thick

slim has larger footprint too, so might not fit in that spot

Must be normal then cause it's way more than 1 cm thick. Ok I'm in if the kit is normal sized balasts (I think he said on another page it was)
