Does it make a difference (i.e mounting brackets, hoses, placement, fittings etc) if it is used on a non Diesel? (i.e 1.8T)

      2004 VW MK4 1.8T GTI

Do you know which model TDI the hoses are for? ALH or BEW? Auto or standard? It might save me getting hoses and swapping my ALH one to my BEW so I might be interested.

Yes it makes a difference, the way the hoses are for the TDI application will not directly fit 1.8t, from what i know its the oil cooler lines face the passenger side while in the 1.8t its towards driver side.

I asked the guy at frost heater if it would fit a GTI and he said the engine is a different config and thyve yet to work out how to make one work on it.
