  • FS: 1988 Audi 90 2.0L Auto FWD

Tming belt broke and I think 2 or more valves got bent in the cylinder head. The pistons are ok as I used a scope to verify this. To get it running, a new or rebuilt head would be required. Would make an excellant parts car or a little TLC to get it fixed and running. The left rear caliper has a seized piston and is no good and I believe the coil for the ignition system is on its way out as it sometimes misfired intermittenly. So to get this car in good shape, mechanically, it would need 1 cylinder head, 1 ignition coil, 1 rear caliper, and new rear pads and rotors.

I am the vehicles third owner and was looked after very well, (besides the timing belt of course). Always garage parked and no rust at all. Exterior is mint as well as the interior. The Audi has 180,000kms and have all of the maintence records from the day it was purchased from South Centre Fine Cars on March 31st 1988. The windsheild has a lifetime warrenty as well as the body for no rust. I have the all of the warrenty info and paper work to prove this as well.

This Audi is equipped with power sunroof and windows, AC (still works), ABS switch (to turn on or off), Cruise(works), four wheel disc brakes, int. wipers, power locks, and heated front seats(both work).

    NEW PRICE $900.00 FIRM

Just waiting to see if the dealer can find one close to Calgary so I don't get hosed on freight. But its a 2010 ....... Won't say just yet..lol. And no..its not a VW or Audi. Much more enjoyable then those and better looking IMO.

So I didn't end up getting the car I really wanted which was the 2010 Hyundia Genesis 2.0T "Track pac". My credit is getting rebuilt as we speak but its still not the best quit yet. The interest rate was too high for my liking which bumped the monthly payments up by $200 more.

Settled on a 2007 Eclipse Spyder with the 3.8L V6. 265 HP convertable. Not a Genesis, but after one year, will sell this and get the car I wanted in the first place with a better interest rate.

Haha..I know, its a girlie car. Its more for my wife to get her to work and back through the week. Doesn't mean I wouldn't cruise with the top down in the mountains though. The only thing that makes it a tiny bit manly is the growl of the 3.8L V6. At least it has that going for it. (:

I will defenitly bring it to race city to see what time it can get. 265HP is still pretty decent but being convertable, it ups the weight to an additional 200 lbs. over the coupes weight.
