  • 2000 Volkswagen Golf TDI GLS

I didn't think I'd be doing this, but I'm thinking of selling my Golf. It's fully loaded, except leather. It's a 4 door and it has a sunroof, heated seats, power windows, etc.

It's got 245,000 KM on the ticker, has 16x8, 0et XXR wheels with 215/40's with >95% tread left. I've got a set of steel wheels that are on the car for winter driving.

The car is lowered on VMAXX coilovers with a STEEL (not the aluminum ones that will crack) skid plate to save the underbelly. It also has the upgraded VR6 brakes to help it stop quicker and new rear rotors and pads. All of these mods were done within the last couple of months.

The car isn't perfect, but it's an incredible daily driver, which is what I've been using it for. I've been getting 1100 KM to a tank, or about 4.5 to 4.8 L/100KM. Just driving this thing saves me $40/week, but my long term project car is complete and the Golf is only a backup to it.

Give me a call to talk a bit more about it or just come and have a look if you'd like.

Price is $7500 with wheels and $6900 without wheels.

    Cheers,

    Corey

Looks nice, but you should post some non-photoshop contrast cranked photos!

GL with the sale. I love my new TDI and I can't imagine not having it. :(

          Thanks dudes!

Hopefully the price motivates someone to pick a sweet daily driver up soon. I just bought a house, so having a few spares bucks probably might be nice ;-] .

Out of curiosity do you still have your old spindles?

Sorry mate, I didn't change out any suspension goodies aside from the coilovers (and new strut mounts and sway bar drop brackets).

Well you can't put VR6 brakes on it without changing the spindles.

Doh. Sorry mate, everything we removed when we did the brake upgrade was tossed.

                      Cheers,

Which means the spindles/Knuckles were swapped. I could use those vr6 brakes and drive axles, oem ones snap in half.
