So now that I've finished my 5 speed swap I'll be selling off my tip tranny and torque converter.
The transmission has 45,000 mi on a rebuild and the torque converter is an upgraded IPT trans unit. I don't need them collecting dust so I'm pricing the whole thing for $1000 (buyer will be responsible for shipping). Bear in mind that the IPT TC's sell for $700 alone and mine only has 15,000 mi on it. A tip trans rebuild is about $3000 (minus the torque converter). So I figure $1000 is more than fair. I'd prefer to sell as a unit, however I would be more willing to part with the transmission as a single unit if I were to separate them.
