Can you send me some links? I just went on the vortex and the only ones less then $15,000 have over 100,000miles (so like 160,000kms) or are salvage. All others are more like $16,500-$21,000

Since I must be missing all these crazy deals on the vortex and elsewhere if someone brings one up with less then 50,000 miles for $18,000CDN (or cheaper) landed all paperwork, duties, taxes etc. done ready to be registered I will pay $19,000. $1000 (or more with some deals you guys are finding) aint bad for a weekends worth of work!

Thats one for instance. If you were able to jump on it fast enough, it was a STEAL!!! pretty much the same mods, a quarter of the mileage of the above posted car, and when you add duties, tax, and other import costs, it would run you around 22K.

There are more of them out there, and at today's exchange rate, any car under $21,500 is cheaper than the 25900 he's asking (i've included the taxes and duty). There are many out there that have much lower mileage, you just need to look around and as already stated above numerous times, DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!

Sorry to rain on your parade, but it was parted about a month ago, and sold back in stock form yesterday. However if I had the money, I would have rather bought that car stock for the $25K he was asking, then the one above with over 100,000kms

I know those ones for $18,000-$19,000 pop up all the time but like you said landed they are about $22,000 if they are close by in the NW. If they are far it will cost more to go get it.

I'm talking about the guys that are saying you can get one for $12,000-$15,000. The lowest one that I have seen in good shape was $16,500 and he sold it very quickly.

Yeah I agree, the ones goin for 12-15 are all really high mileage. Personally, i'd rather pay a bit more for a stock .:R with low miles then a modded one hittin 6 digits on the clock (km wise)

The one in that link only had 3k miles! The last post states it will be parted on the 29th. Was there another thread where he already parted and sold?
