for anyone who wants a quote, please pm me as it's getting hard to keep track of who wants what, so again......please pm me
p.s. no chinese glass. can get oem or aftermarket. oem will be vw glass with the vw symbol scratched off by the supplier as nobody other then vw can sell the glass with the symbol. the shop in question is in the process of opening and has 2 experienced tech's.

oem. but all glass is about the same. its usually only 4mm thick. its all about the lamination process

Well I never got a quote. So has anyone heard of Dynasty Glass? They use PPG glass and will pickup your car to do it.

No quote for me either...just sent him another PM.

Dynasty Glass - never used them for a windshield, but they did the glass in my driver door once. I asked for OEM and the glass they put in had a green tint to it. I asked them about it after I noticed and they refused to change it. Won't go back.
