    FS/Feeler 2006 Jetta Wagon TDI

    My father out east has a Silver 2006 Jetta Wagon TDI with 17XXXX km's on it. Has the cold weather package. No sunroof, auto-tiptronic. 95% of the km's are highway, he uses it to commute for work as he has his own business. No accidents. He had the timing belt, water pump and fluids flushed 30,000km's ago. Installed the 140k deluxe timing belt kit. Installed by a journeyman mechanic friend from BMW, not dealer installed. Comes with summer tires and rims as well as brand new winters on steelies. TPC included. 1000km/tank highway. 700-800km city.

    Reason for selling: My dad is doing more hauling of materials and equipment now then he was before. Although the fuel mileage is good, he doesn't have enough room in the Wagon and needs something bigger so he's buying a new caravan. Car has run flawlessly since day one. One owner. Full syntheic oil changes. The car is registered in Ontario and would need an "Out of province" inspection, but should have no problem passing whatsoever.


    Asking price: $10,000 OBO

    The car is currently out east at the moment, but if I get a serious offer with possibly a small downpayment I will drive it out just after new years. I don't have any pictures at the moment as my dad is using the car for the day, when it's home tomorrow I will wash it, and vacume out the interior and take some pictures and post them up. The asking price is flexible, but keep in mind that it is being underpriced by about $5000 compared to the going price of Jetta Wagon TDI's in Alberta at the moment.

    Try and keep this thread clean, I'm just looking to sell the car.

    Your grammar still fails, read it again....

    The Mechanic that did all the work is a good friend and a vw nut and the only person I know I could trust out east with a timing belt.
    Also should mention the brakes were done all around when the timing belt was done because my dad felt it should be done. Still had 30-40% left to give you any indication on what type of driving with the auto was done with this.

    I would have taken this, but I already have a Passat TDi for the wife and she won't touch a wagen till we have kids. Oh well, front wheel bearings have also been replaced once since new by the dealer as it was still under warranty when it went.
