FEELER: 225/45/17 Michelin Pilot Alpins

There might be a chance I will be getting a 16" steelie set up for winter and cancel my order on the 17" rims I bought last week. If this is the case, I'll have some Michelin Pilot Alpins, sized 225/45/17 for sale.

They have about 12K on them over two winters and are in excellent condition.

Article in the Herald today talks about the advantages of winter tires over all season tires, even in Calgary. Think of them as extra insurance - its easilly worth $550 to prevent a fender-bender over the next couple of seasons. Our cars come with advanced traction control, antilock breaks... these things do nothing if your tires can't grip.
