  • FS - Mk ll Jetta Coupe

it has a good motor but the auto tranny is pissing fluid everywhere. new ball joints and tie rods as well as a new steering rack but lines aren't tight and i really don't wanna pull out the tools this winter to pull down the k-frame. cd player. blower gave up just before we got it and didn't get round to checking it out. the best news is the body, all flairs, big bumpers, minimal rust, no prior collisions, the grille even stays on with factoy tabs . needs new shocks too but i'm sure any of you fine dubbers would at least but in some vmaxx or a cup kit. and the headliner is sagging. $2000

If you are looking for feedback. My opinion is that your price is pretty steep. Your body looks like its in decent condition but your tranny needs work, several mechanical parts need to be fixed or possibly replaced. I think your price range should be anywhere between $500-$1000. You could probably get closer to your asking price if you parted out the parts and shell seperate. Just my opinion.

i think the price is pretty justified. the coupe, for one is more desirable. it is pretty damn clean, as evidenced by the grill/hood/fender fitment it has never been hit. the grille stays on with factory tabs. sure the tranny sway needs to happen but anybody of the VW scene should be able to do the swap easily enough. the headliner, blower, and suspension are all little things. the interior is nearly mint otherwise. brakes are good. maybe an O.B.O. is needed but selling it for <$1000 is ludicrous. its not some rust bucket project car here.

Honestly I was going to say from the 1st time I saw this FS post. You are asking way to much man...but if that's what you feel you should be getting out of it, good luck with the sale.
