  • FS: 1989 Jetta GTX - Part Out or Whole

Well it looks like I won't be getting around to fixing the Jetta anytime soon so I am looking to sell it as a whole or part out. Let me know what you need, you bring your own tools and pull it off. Car does have some rust in spots, but is in pretty good shape for the year. Car is complete minus Recaro front's (Still have the matching rears).

Let me know, car is going to the junkers as of Dec 15, 2009.

Fuel pump to run. Would also require a new head gasket in the near future. If you have the knowledge and skill it really wouldn't take much to bring it back. With my very full school schedule I simply do not have the time or money to deal with these repairs.

Edit: The 16V still pulls really hard and runs great, I just don't have the money to keep up with the maintenance on this car and go to school full time.

How much you want for the entire package???. I would be interested in the engine if nothing else, but the price would have to be right.

Momo wheel has already been parted out to my brother. It just has the OEM GTX Leather wrapped wheel in it.

I would be looking for $800 OBO for the whole car. I would prefer to try and sell it as a whole right now before I start parting it out.

PM me if you are interested.

              Thanks!

In all fairness to Jordan the car needed to be gone over every spring to keep it looking good. Winters were really hard on it thats why I got rid of it. I would spend close to $500 each spring at Chippy having the rust areas fixed up. Thats why it always looked good however if this was neglected she would start to rust away pretty quickly! Anyways, sad to see it like this though :(
