SOLD I had planned to replace my Subaru with this Syncro sedan for the winter, but am now having different thoughts.
91 Passat Syncro G60 Sedan. Silver w/ pearl clear 150k on all, but motor.
The good:
-1.8L G60 w/ 210k on Engine. New t-belt, tenssioner, waterpump, front and rear main seals, oil pan/gasket. *Have cluster belonging to engine*
-VR6 Clutch just installed.
-Pollished "Syncros" with 195/55/15 tires w/ ~85% tread remaining.
-Windshield is free of cracks.
-99% rust free (picture of only visible rust below)
-Very clean Black leather interior in fantastic shape!
-Factory Moonroof.
-Brand new radiator.
-Newer Exhaust from cat back.
-No cracks in headlghts!
-Manual Windows. VW power windows are terrible.
The bad:
-Acquired some hail damage a few weeks ago.
-Nasty exhaust leak near downpipe. I doubt I will fix before sale, but have new downpipe gasket.
-Coolant temp guage not working. *Light works fine, does not over heat and fan cycles properly*
-Speed cable disconnected at cluster from diagnossing temp guage. *will probably fix this before sale*
The car starts,runs and drives and pulls strong. Being a Syncro, it will make an awesome winter vehicle or rally car!
$800 takes it. Will also part out car if anyones interested
Shift knob not incuded. Gauges negotiable.
Only rust spot showing on the car.
