Alright, time to get this thing posted to see if there's any interest.
Located in NW Calgary (Sunnyside).
1992 VW Passat GL, gun-metal grey, ~288,000 km, rebuilt (auto to manual conversion).
Bad:
-Plastic parts of bumper falling off due to too many encounters with curbs and snow drifts;
-Oil leak somewhere in the engine which have affected spark plugs/wires;
-Minor dings and a couple of rust spots;
-Window motors in rear windows don't work.
Good:
-Interior in very good shape, only one spot where headliner is loose (maybe 3" long);
-Heated seats work;
-Nice deck, and sub in trunk;
-Very fresh rubber as I only started driving to work (3 km) a month ago. For two years this thing was only used on weekends and even then, rarely up until this year.
Car is a wild-card. Could be used as a daily driver with a bit of work but maybe better for parts. I need it gone ASAP as I'm buying an Audi this week.
Any offer considered. Start the asking at $800 with either of the sets of wheels (detailed below).
I have summer and winter wheels and tires for this thing. One set comes with the car, the other set asking $300. Both sets have plenty of tread left, I want to guess 70%? Neither were used extensively... I really didn't drive this car that much on either set.
185/60/14 Hankook iPikes on 14" four-bolt steelies:
205/45/16 Kumho Ecsta Supras on 16" Mullen wheels (some Australian company). All with VW centre-caps:
So again, asking $800 for the car and one set of shoes or best offer, $300 for the other set of shoes or best offer.
