  • WTB: Plastic belly pan!

    Hello all!

Ripped the plastic belly pan off the MK4 GLI yesterday. Does anyone that upgraded to a skid plate by chance have their old OEM plastic pan lying around? Need the 2 side pieces as well.

Let me know what you have!

    Thanks in advance!

Theres a short middle one, a bodyshop parts book says the full panel is only for TDI for some reason. Just got one a couple weeks ago, it only fills from the front lip back to the front edge of the engine, so it doesn't have to come off for oil changes.

FYI, all 3 parts are around $240 new (total), and the mounting hardware is about $15.

is that $240 just for the short one? The dealer quoted me $300 for the full one!!! so i bought an evo for just over 300 and saved my wallet from having to buy a new one a couple months later and my oil pan from those ice mountains!

It was $240 for all three pieces (about $80 per piece), but that wasn't from the dealer. I have the steel oilpan skid cover that came factory, so I don't see the need for an additional plate, although the aluminum ones do cover the drive shafts so you get more protection.
