Doesn't a signed bill of sale mean the car is already owned by you?

There might be some legal recourse there, if you wanted to pursue.

I am not sure on how timing and stuff will end up but I must admit I was a little tempted by this car.

If you have a bill of sale and registration, call and report the car stolen?

Well she's not gone yet fellas. I have two fairly interested parties however I'm not 100% sure on the timing of selling the car. If it goes by the end of the month, what am I going to drive until I find an R?

                        Well fellas,

I've decided to hold onto the car until summer. Maybe the dollar will get a bit better and I will finally buy the R i've alsways wanted!!!! Just doesn't make a lot of sense right now!!

So look for the car to be for sale come summer again (hopefully)!!!

Don't give up hope yet Derek... there's an R in your future... I can feel it!

Word of advice: If you get Michelin X-Ice's for winter, make sure they are the new Xi2's and not the old "X-Ice's". The old ones are only speed rated to 160 kmph!

So since you rightfully own this other car you "bought" and they are now backing out you should charge them for your insurance, plates and wasted time. Once a bill of sale is signed in my eyes you have nothing to fall back on, I actually believe once it is signed paid or not you are entitled to the vehicle.

Yes, technically the "Bill of Sale" transfers ownership of the asset or assets from a seller to a buyer. As such, the automobile is rightfully yours as long as your "Bill of Sale" is filled out properly. The seller should not have filled this out with you prior to having the money change hands. Only problem is, are you prepared to go to small claims court, etc. to have this rectified?

Let us know what turns out.

Nope!!! The car has already been sold to someone else (I'm assuming for more money than we agreed upon). I'll find another sometime down the road!
