as the title states I am looking for a Mk3 or newer golf for under 5. must be in good condition, run great and be sound and clean. I am not looking for a project this time, just something I can drive with regular matenance

nah, been there done the super cheap car, I don't want another one right now...no time for the hassle with a six month old baby, he get cranky when you have to try and fix the car on the side of the road
