I may take the turbo, would it be the same for all MKIV's? Or did the earlier 1.8T use a different turbo? My bro-in-laws turbo is on it's way out and I THINK his car is an 01'...

He would just have a k03, not a K03s. Alot of peope with the K03, upgrade to the K03s when thiers die. It all fits the same.

Yeah, I know it's a K03, but just wanted to make sure they all fit without any other modifications...he wouldn't be doing this as a "mod", more as a replacement. Can the stock tune be used without ANY issues with the K03s?

I'll probably take it from you, just waiting to hear back from my bro-in-law first

No idea about stock tune, dont see why not, its not that different of a turbo.
