idk, it came out of my mk4 jetta(1.8T). Im really dont know if there is a differnce tho.

sweet. yes, that is a battery for the gas vehicles. the tdi one would have "ag" at the end of the part #, instead of the "ad". too bad, would've been an excuse to drive out to Banff.
