  • Fs: 1997 Gti Vr6

So I'm 100% selling the GTI I could really use the money from the sale of the car to get my hands on a 911. A lot of you know the car but I will fill you in on a few details.

    1997 Windsor blue GTI VR6
55,000 original km's as of this morning. I believe this car to be one of the lowest mileage MK3's in canada although I could be wrong.
I am the second owner with the first being even more anal than I.
Car has never been winter driven!!

    Car is located in Calgary!

    Interior

Perfect black leather interior with Jetta rear bench (headrests)
Brand new OEM DE steering wheel with red stitching
Brand new OEM DE golf ball shifter, with red stitched hand brake cover
    OEM GTI floor mats
Boost guage, Oil pressure guage and temp guage
ABsolutely perfect interior that has never been smoked in since new

    Exterior
Very good original windsor blue paint. Some rock chips on the front but nothing extreme. Just had the vehicle prefessionally power polished. Absolutely 100% rust free vehicle.
-Very rare powered and heated pzwo mirrors
    -Euro VR6 chin spoiler
    -Painted door handles
    -Hatch spoiler removed
-Inpro R32 look headlights HIDS. Didn't do the euro rad support so the original clips broke. Passenger side top held on VIA ziptie!!! Ha Ha.
-Clear side markers with Hella M3 tails

    Motor

-VF Stage 3 supercharger kit. Professionally installed. Rated at 315hp at the crank
    -OBX header
-magnaflow catback with high flow magnaflow cat
    -Polished eibach strut bar
    -polished intake manifold
-Current check engine light on. Has been since stage 3 install. Scan the code and reading that car is running rich.
reset and code returns but car runs really well. Oh well. Its a MK3!!

    Suspension/Brakes

-H&R coilovers that still move very freely
-New Brembo cross drilled/slotted rotors with stainless lines and ceramic pads installed 2000 km's ago
    -Red painted calipers

    Wheels

The car will come with the factory 15" 5 spoke alloys with original tires that probably have no more than 1000km's of usage.

Price is $15500 with 15" alloys.

Widened RS 301's that can be included at a higher price.

Lastly, if you don't like the price, please don't **** on my thread. Just move on!!
    Thanks

    Couple of pics....

    Cheers

Thanks Kyle!!! Yes I'm 100% sure this time. I just really need a change. Its one of the longest VW ownerships I've had!! Ha Ha!!!

Looking for a 90-94 911 (also know as a 964). Will probably hold off buying until I can find a 94 widebody C4 but I'll see what happens!!

Good luck, the sale of the GTI should pay for a year (maybe 2) of maintenance on the new car!!

Glad I have the MK2 or i'd be way too tempted by this.

Matter of opinion I guess. Don't get me wrong, I'd give my left nut for a 993
C2S but I can't afford one. IMO, the 964 still has that amazing, classic 911 look at a reasonable price!
