    Re: Sprint Booster

i am pretty sure DBW is near real-time. anyway i don't see how adding extra hardware will increase the response time. one piece of hardware can't make another work any faster if its already at it's limit. unless vw made it sluggish on purpose. what i can see it doing is adding +20% or some value to whatever you are already pushing the pedal to give you the effect of it being more responsive.

I can confirm that the product works, tried it personaly, was scepktical myself at first but once tried it you don't realize how much lag is actualy there. Works on a 2.0L but works even better on a turbo car. Think about it, a cable drivin car is about as direct as you can get, if you have delay, tighten the cable. On electronically drivin cars, you have delays due to potentiomitors (sp?) and signals to the computer and resistance in wiring, all this adds to delay times.

That makes no sense. At all. We're talking about electricity here, not a garden hose.

This probably works similar to cars that have a Sport Mode (eg. Porsche 911) which just changes the throttle response by increasing the signal. It doesn't make the car any faster than it could go if you had the pedal to the floor. It just makes it so that if you don't have the pedal to the floor or you ease into it, it gets to full throttle faster.

I never said it makes the car any faster, it just takes the delay out of the pedal.

                  Re: Sprint Booster

All you do is unplug the harness from the pedal plug in the sprint booster then plug the harness back into the sprint booster, quite simple actually.

And I have tested one of these as well, IMO I would rather save the 300-350 for a chip first then maybe this.

                    Re: Sprint Booster

On some cars it takes 6 min. and the mark up is very small so $350.00 plus
                    about $10.00 shipping to Calgary.
