    Looking for someone that wants to swap fronts, I have an indigo blue GTI, don't care for matching the colors, but looking for a jetta front.

      there is another guy from clubveedub that was also interested, I am probably going to be down in calgary March 8th and 9th, galiactic blue and indigo are fairly close but in sunlight you can tell there is a shade difference, that doesn't matter to me though.

                        This technique has been tried several times and I think usually what just works best is to buy the parts either from a wrecker or new and do the swap yourself. I even tried it with my mk3 which is a lot easier (Only need lights grill and hood) and still had no luck.

                        Not trying to be a downer, but I have yet to see a successful swap by going this route.

                        Also unless the paint is an exact match it's not worth it either as a body shop will charge more time to get used panels looking good whereas new panels can just be painted without any prep.

                          Well I have some interest and there is a guy that has the same paint code as me on CVD but he is very tied up recently so I'm keeping my options open.
