in an attempt to drum up some ligitimate interest...

clutch replaced with SPEC stage 4.
new front tires ordered. should be installed friday.

the car is now basically perfect.

somehow cars that aren't half this clean are selling for 8k, so i am thinking i should increase the price to 24k. maybe then i can get an offer?

Heh, I've been thinking the same thing. A stock POS mk2 is sells for 5k.

new clutch is in, tires are ordered, but havent been picked up, as i am trying to negotiate that into the price.

i could be in the market for a new vehicle since i picked up a winter **** wagon. if my car sells or i get a decent trade plus some dough ill definatly be coming your way.

I think most people are afraid of the mods, and back yard mechanics....say its bone stock OEM. it should sell faster :P

haha, love it.

car was built by Kompressor Kanada, so not really too "backyard"
all recent work done by Calgary Autoworks.

only real "backyard" stuff in the last year has been oil changes, new clutch, and install of headlight relays.

car was built by Kompressor Kanada, so not really too "backyard"
all recent work done by Calgary Autoworks.

Funny story....Dave aka Kompressor Kanada is actually working out of his basement now....not exactly a backyard but close.

Anyways I still can't believe this car hasn't sold. I really wish I wasn't so broke. Good luck with the sale Mike!

SO suprised that the car hasn't sold. there have been a few sets of very capable hands that have done work on this car / REBUILT it. Dave @ Kompressor K is a total douche-canoe and shouldn't be associated with the car what so ever.
