Posting this for a client of mine at work. Vehicle is a 174km 98 GTi VR6 with all the drivers edition goodies. Black on black leather. This car is very clean inside and out, probably one of the cleanest mk3's I've ever seen. There is no rust anythere on the car, the paint is in great shape, and the leather looks like its never been sat in, no even any wear on the bolsters. Not to sound cliche, but the car is actually owned by a sweet little old lady thats owned it since new.
Now onto the bad. The car needs some pretty substantial engine work. The head gasket is leaking on cylinders #2 and #5, and it has a noisy lifter. Its more money that she wants to put into the car, so she is going to sell it. I'd love to buy it but I don't have the cash or a spot to park it. I really want to see this can go to someone in the VW community, so it can stay in the wonderfull shape its in. Please message me for any more details. She's not going to give this car away, but the price she is asking is very reasonable considering the shape the car is in.
