FREE - 2005 VW Golf GL TDI OEM Skid Plate

I recently replaced my OEM engine skid plate with an Atlas Aluminum skid plate for a little extra protection and reassurance. However the OEM skid plate is in great condition, just a few light scratches - If anyone needs an OEM plastic skid plate, fire me a pm and it's yours if you come pick it up.

If there's no interest over the next week it will most likely be destined for the nearest dumpster. Just seems a shame to throw it out since if someone needs one, the dealer will likely charge a premium for it.

yeah, they are a bit pricey new, but sure keep the engine bay cleaner. worth having something down there. I have a free one too, but it has a big hole and shards of oil pan embedded in it .

It was a very easy install, and feels extremely solid - I like the piece of mind it provides when driving over big ice chunks on the highway, or down crowchild once they're scraped off the top layer of asphalt and haven't marked the manholes.

I'm in the deep south - The lake at Heritage Pointe. About 5 mins south of Sundance/Shawnessy on MacLeod, or 5 mins south of MacKenzie Town/Lake on Deerfoot. Exit from both onto Dunbow road. PM for address and detailed directions.

Should have picked the same plate up at C1, you would get a club discount and it makes it cheaper then buying direct lol.

When I ordered it the exchange rate was good enough that I came out cheaper than at C1, even with the discount (which I don't get, since I'm not an 'official' member). But an excellent point for anyone else considering the same skid plate right now.

So, I ended up going with a steel plate on both my TDIs, so 2 of them are now available again.

Adam's, from 2004 and one from 2001 - doesnt look like there is any difference though...
