For sale is my 2003 Black Magic Pearl 20th Anniversary GTI. The car has 81,XXX kms and has always been professionally serviced at the dealership (all service records included). This car is 1 of 200 special 20th Anniversary editions sold in Canada in 2003. I am the original owner and factory ordered the car from 5th Avenue Auto Haus.
UPDATE - I'm parting out a bunch of goodies so check out my other thread if you're interested. I'll update the price accordingly once everything's sold

In addition to Volkswagen’s standard features, the 20th Anniversary GTI came from the factory with a host of upgrades to distinguish it from the standard GTI. The differences are comprised of:

- Headlights with blacked-out internals
- Recaro sport seats
- Black headliner
- ESP – Electronic Stability Program (a rare option)
- Votex body kit (front valence, side skirts, rear valence, hatch spoiler)
- 20th Anniversary-specific badging (red GTI logos on grill & hatch + rabbit icon)
Notable standard features include:
- Power locks w/ remote
- Heated mirrors
- Factory alarm w/ immobilizer
- Traction control
- ABS
- Power sunroof
- Air conditioning
- Dual front & side impact airbags
EXTRAS
WHEELS (3 sets included)
- 19” x 8.5” Axis Supermesh wheels w/ Yokohama AVS Sport tires (4000km on tires)

- Neuspeed 28mm rear sway bar (professionally installed 8000km ago)
ENGINE
- Neuspeed cold air intake

INTERIOR

- GTI Monster mats (winter)
EXTERIOR
- Euro taillights (RSSR)
- Clear corner side marker lights
- Aluminum stubby antenna
- OEM HID’s w/ Laminex (purchased brand new for $1,800 five months ago / will also include stock headlights, as well)
The car is in great shape and runs very strong. There are a few normal signs of age such as small stone chips on the front bumper and a crack in the windshield (thank-you Deerfoot Trail for both of those). The interior is very clean and has never been smoked in or abused. No weird smells, stains, or scuffs.
As I mentioned previously, the car has had every service completed on schedule by the dealership and I have recently replaced the brakes at all four corners (rotors and pads). The car has no mechanical problems and is a hoot to drive. With its winter shoes put on it’s also very capable in the snow. It has even been better in the winter than the Jeep TJ I drove when I was younger!
I am setting the price at $25,500. For the condition of the car as well as everything that is included I believe this is a more than fair asking price. I do not wish to get into debates on this price, nor do I want this thread to turn into a “I can get the same car in the US for way cheaper”. Again, I will not be parting out the car right now so please do not ask. If I choose to part out the car I will create a new thread and update the price accordingly on this one.
I will be happy to have any prospective buyer over to view the car in our heated underground parkade. Just get in touch with me via PM and we can set up an appointment. No test pilots please.
I’ve included some pictures and will be updating with some interior shots this weekend.
Cheers!
