Hey guys, lets try this again. My dad has recently bought his new Touareg and would like to sell his passat.
Its a 2001.5, 1.8T, silver with mint black leather interior.
The car has 103000km's on it which is less than average considering its 6 years old. It also has a relatively rare 5 speed manual vs. the common tiptronic transmission. This vehicle was originally bought at 5th ave in Calgary and has been in my family since new. Its never been in any major accidents. Dad bumped it with his own truck causing around $1200 damage but that was fixed properly.
Some of the standard features include....
- air conditioning
- Power windows, power heated mirrors
- 4 wheel disc brakes with abs and traction control
- Tilt/telescopic sterring column
- Height adjustable and heated driver and passenger seats
- Keyless remote entry with alarm and imobilizer
- 8 speaker Monsoon sound system
- Dual front and side airbags
- 2 way power sunroof
- 60/40 spit rear seating
- full size spare tire
- 16 FRD alloys with relatively new all season tires
- 3m stone guard to the front of the hod fenders and mirrors since new
The list really goes on and on. The car has been properly maintained and has been exceptionally reliable. It is a very solid car with no squeeks or rattles. I would rate the interior a 9.5 out of 10 and the exterior 7.5 out of 10. Mechanically the car needs nothing other than a timing belt replacement relatively soon (which can be worked into the deal)
The body of the car, although clean and free of rust has 2 problems. Someone decided he thought it would be cool to key the passenger side door and another felt ot was OK to bump the car in the parking lot and not leave a note. Again nothing major but worth mentioning.
Any ways, onto the pics.....
Picture of the door with the key mark
Now, being dutch and all, my dad thinks this thing is worth Phaeton money (which unfortunately isn't far off)
Lets start at $16500 and see what happens. He (I) is really motivated to sell as its currently sitting outside of my house where I really don't want it so really any reasonable offers would be looked at.
Again, the car is in really nice shape and needs a new home.
You can either pm me or call me at 999-7598!!
Thanks for looking.
Cheers
Derek
