1986 Jetta caRat.
-Highmileage 1.8L (high compression engine) Still pulls hard!
-4k (i think thats the code) tranny (the sweet close ratio one)
-Noisy lifters but i have some new ones that i can throw in if your gonna use them
-dual outlet DP
- ODO stopped working, has over 320 000km's on it.
-Rusty
-Powerwindows (front two work good, back two are kind of iffy)
-heated seats work (IIRC.. i know the pass. does, i THINK the drivers does but i have my other seats in it now)
-heater blows HOT and the fan works great ( i was very surprised how hot it blows!)
-4 wheel disks.
-ebrake works great
-exhaust is great and has all new rubbers
-one new headlight
-BRAND new bosch alt. and belt
-"smoked" tails and turns
-new balljoints
-tierod ends
-whole front subframe with control arms.
-Remote starter
...and power locks too.
I think thats pretty much it...
even the MAF works still!
only thing is its pretty rusty, and the springs are chopped (could probably find some stockies if needed/wanted)
overall the car drives great and it was my daily driver last winter and most of this summer.
Took it to edmonton when i still lived in mcmurray tons of times, calgary and few times.. and Prince George BC just a few weeks ago!
Never left me stranded or anything.. I probably have more faith in this then my passat :rabbit:
