i've decided not to pull the drivetrain from this vehicle
i have enough 8vs and 020s kicking around as it is
the car runs and drives
and will leave with the first person to show up at my place with a loonie in their hand
approximately 165000 km on the engine and transaxle
it's sitting on a well used but still decent patec 60/40 kit
it's no jem, it's rusty as hell but it runs and the price is right!
someone come by and grab this so i can pick up my new golf!

couldn't get this thing moving because of a broken CV joint
