They both should be rebuilt... the VR6 for sure.

But still, It's a good deal. Sell the parts you don't need + the 2 engines for cheap (i was trying for $600 and $400 shipped with not much luck), and you'll easily break even, and you're left with a great start to a race car.

I can't see this trade happening before spring though. Maybe we should just piss off our parents by leaving old heaps of audi/vw junk in their yards till then.

I have no idea.. i actually found another 5000CD down here for cheap that need s a bit of work and needs a rad.. i think im gonna pick it up and take the aprts off the wagon... then throw the chip and spring in it.. = ballin winter beater again
