Hey guys i just recently purchased a set of 19 x 8.5 Axis Pentas, they are brand new still in the boxes, paid just over $2000.00 for them and am taking quite the loss at $1500.00 OBO

I know I know i know but im worried about the ride being even more harsh with 19's instead of 18's, its bad enough lowered as it is. These are the wheels I want but in 18.

What size tires would you put on these for a golf?

you'd put on 225/35/19's and have a little bit of stretch.

I know I know i know but im worried about the ride being even more harsh with 19's instead of 18's, its bad enough lowered as it is. These are the wheels I want but in 18.

What kind of suspension do you have, cause going from 18"s to 19"s didnt affect my ride qaulity at all on my car. My guess would be its your suspension giving you the harsh ride.

Thanks Simon, would you need the stretch to avoid rubbing? not a big fan of stretch really

oh it is my suspension, i only have the factory 17's on at the mo. my suspension is lowered about 1 to 1.5 inch with koni shocks on. jsut dont want to make it even harder a ride but its interesting you say that. Hmmmm

So one more little question, would these fit without spacers and rings etc?

umm id consider a trade but im in need of a 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern and nothing larger then 18 inch rims... and yes these would bolt up with out any problems, all you need is some tires

nothing needed. i ran these on my last car, even 19 by 9.5 in the rear no problems.

Good choice! My fav rims by far, kinda wish i would have kept my last set.
