haha i was crusing down the highway in 5th gear full bost, the boost spiked to 23.5 psi and BAM! a nice whole in my block, to tell you the truth im kinda happy about it since my block leaked from couple of places and it needed a rebuild soon anyway.
nothing i can do about it haha, im really leaning towards a vr6-t now tho, will see if i can find a decent deal on the swap it self, if not back to 2.0-t it is

Sucks to hear, probably cheapest to fix it would be another ABA but there is a shop in BC that will do a VR swap for 5 grand plus extras.
I think it's 604dubsgarage or something like that. They usually get the donors from seattle. Included in the price is the conversion to 5 lug and usually bigger brakes. Not sure you'd want to do that though after buying those gorgeous wheels.

1.8t would be a lil too much work for me, i think im just going to stick with the 2.0 again just because their so easy to work with, it took me 3 hours to get my engine out and torn apart, not bad considering its my first time taking an engine out.
Kor: thanks for those links man, im already talking to that airrider guy hopefully he replys back
Sorry to hijack the thread but why are you parting your car now Mitch? Last I heard was the motor was in and there was just wiring and a few odds and ends that needed finishing!
